Our olive groves cover an area of 16 hectares, with about 3.000 trees, including both centuries-old olive trees as well as younger ones. The entire agricultural area of the company is located in the centre of Calabria in the so-called area “Gola di Marcellinara”, from whose hills it is possible to see the Two Seas, the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea (only about 30 km far away). The winds that blow between the two seas and the mild temperatures in this area generate a perfect climate to grow olives, especially the olive variety “Carolea”, a typical olive variety in Calabria and with exceptional nutritional values.
The cultivation phases of the olive groves, from organic fertilisation to pruning and harvesting, are carried out with the highest respect for the nature and under the supervision of highly qualified co-workers. The meticulous and loving care of the olive trees begins with the passion for the land which has to be considered as a heritage to be safeguarded.
